What's at stake: Rutgers is averaging 13.5 points a game. Morgan State? Zero. The Bears would like to get on the scoreboard, at least, before starting Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play next week. They'll be decided underdogs against their Big Ten adversary, despite Rutgers' record: The Scarlet Knights lost, 30-14, to No. 6 Washington before a 16-13 loss to undefeated Eastern Michigan last week. Morgan State and Rutgers last met in 2008, a year after Scarlet Knights running back Ray Rice was drafted by the Ravens. Rutgers won that game, 38-0.

As Towson and Morgan State renewed their football rivalry, the Tigers blanked the Bears.

Key matchup: In last week's 26-0 loss to Albany, veterans Herb Walker Jr. and Eric Harrell rushed 15 times for 20 total yards. How they fare against Rutgers' defense could tell all.

Player to watch: Linebacker Brandon Griffin, a redshirt junior, has 13 tackles, a sack and an interception for the Bears. Two weeks ago, he was the MEAC Defensive Player of the Week.
