What's at stake:
Morgan State will battle new conference member North Carolina Central on Saturday after a 44-17 win against Savannah State last week. This will be the first of three straight road games for the Bears, who are 1-2 on the road so far this season. The Eagles have lost three straight, including last week's 49-38 defeat to South Carolina State.
Key matchup:
True freshman Seth Higgins showed a ton of promise this past weekend with 239 passing yards and four touchdowns. He connected with eight different receivers for the second straight game and torched the Savannah State secondary. The Eagles secondary may be a little tougher though, as they have nearly as many interceptions (seven) as touchdowns allowed (eight).
