Friday, 7 p.m., ESPN Spread: South Florida by 7 If South Florida keeps it up, Willie Taggart’s name will be at the top of the wish list for many schools looking to hire a new head coach at the end of the season. The Bulls have one of the best offenses in the country, led by junior dual-threat quarterback Quinton Flowers, who has passed for 13 touchdowns and is the team’s leading rusher with 655 yards and seven touchdowns. Temple started slow this season, losing 28-13 to Army in its opener, but is 2-1 in the AAC with a win over SMU and a thrilling come-from-behind 26-24 victory at Central Florida. Temple’s defense is nowhere near the high level it reached last season when the program was briefly ranked in the Associated Press Top 25, and will face its toughest test yet trying to stop a South Florida offense that averages 45 points per game, No. 7 nationally. The Bulls are in the driver’s seat in the AAC East, but a loss to Temple would put the Owls back in contention. (Jason Behnken / Getty Images)
