MORGAN STATE (2-3, 1-1) @ FLORIDA A&M; (0-4, 0-0)
When: Saturday, 5 p.m.
Site: Bragg Memorial Stadium, Tallahassee, Fla.
Radio: 88.9 FM
Series: Florida A&M; leads, 19-5
What's at stake: The Bears' two-game winning streak came to an end in a familiar fashion a week ago. Previously-winless Norfolk State scored the game-winning touchdown with 29 seconds left in regulation, and Morgan State lost after coughing up a lead in the second half for the third time this season. The Bears face another winless opponent on Saturday in the Rattlers, who have lost their last seven. Florida A&M;, which last won on Nov. 2, 2013 (they beat Norfolk State, 16-6), did return 17 starters. Morgan State has won three of the last five meetings with the Rattlers, including a 34-21 victory on Oct. 5, 2013.
Key matchup: Senior quarterback Damien Fleming is a dual threat, but Florida A&M; has had problems keeping him upright. Fleming has been sacked 11 times, including five times in last Saturday's 27-7 loss to Tennessee State, which is ranked No. 21 in The Sports Network's latest Football Championship Subdivision poll. That bodes well for the Bears, who rank second in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference in sacks (14), and redshirt senior outside linebacker Christopher Robinson, who leads the league in that department (eight).
Player to watch: After an outing in which he completed just 4 of 19 passes for 38 yards, all eyes will be on redshirt senior quarterback Robert Council. The Rattlers will try to shut down Morgan State's running game, which features Council and redshirt sophomore running back Herb Walker Jr. That's when it will be incumbent on Council to attack the defense through the air.
