Former St. Frances standout Briana Hutchen is leaving the Rutgers women's basketball team.

Hutchen, The Baltimore Sun's 2010 girls basketball player of the year, told Scarlet Knights coach C. Vivian Stringer that she planned to transfer.

In her freshman season at Rutgers, Hutchen played in 28 games, averaging 1.2 points and 1.5 rebounds.
