Ohio State's upset of North Carolina was the first time the Buckeyes were at full strength this year. Three players missed the 20-2 win against Mercer and five missed the 4-3 win against Detroit-Mercy because of suspensions, the team confirmed.

Spenser Parnell, a 2008 Under-Armour All-American who transferred from Syracuse this winter, is no longer on the Roanoke team and intends to rejoin next year, Coach Bill Pilat confirmed. According to multiple sources, he is academically ineligible this year.

Cornell junior defenseman Peter Mumford, an expected contributor this season, left the team last week, the school has confirmed. Mumford is not expected back. Mumford sat out last year to fulfill NCAA transfer regulations after he transferred from Onondaga (NY) CC.

Virginia's four-year goalie Adam Ghitelman did not play during the Cavaliers' win against Drexel on Saturday, but he suited up in Virginia's blowout against Mount St. Mary's. He was benched for a violation of team rules.

Notre Dame goaltender Sean Kemp played with an upper-body injury in the Irish's win against Duke on Sunday. Kemp will not need surgery and is not expected to miss any time, the school said.
