The Greater Baltimore Chapter of U.S. Lacrosse will induct 10 new members into its 2011 Hall of Fame class. Joe Breschi, Tony Seaman, Quint Kessenich, Butch Marino, Michael Watson, Krystin Porcella, Michelle Meyer Dwan, Stephanie Roberts Radebaugh, Gina Roberts Ubriaco and Anne Ensor will be inducted at a banquet on Jan. 22, 2011, at Grand Mason Lodge in Hunt Valley.
Breschi, a 1986 graduate of Loyola Blakefield, was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference's 50th Anniversary Men's Lacrosse Team for his career at the University of North Carolina and was a member of the 1994 and 1998 U.S. National Teams that played in the World Lacrosse Games. He is currently the men's coach at the University of North Carolina after serving in the same role at Ohio State for 11 seasons beginning in 1998.
Seaman enters his 13th season as Towson's coach in 2011, guiding the Tigers to three Colonial Athletic Association championships and five NCAA Tournament appearances. A 1965 graduate of the State University of New York at Cortland, Seaman has also coached at the University of Pennsylvania and Johns Hopkins University.
Kessenich was a four-time All-American goalie at Johns Hopkins, leading the Blue Jays to the 1987 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship. Kessenich is currently a lacrosse analyst for ESPN and assists with the network's college basketball and college football coverage.
Marino played nine years in the Major Indoor Lacrosse League for the Baltimore Thunder and the Pittsburgh Bulls after a successful collegiate career at the University of Delaware. He was a first team All-East Coast Conference selection in 1986 and 1987 and helped Team USA to a World Lacrosse Championship victory over Australia in 1994.
Watson, a Baltimore native who attended St. Paul's School, was a four-time All-American at the University of Virginia, where he led the Cavaliers to two appearances in the NCAA championship game in 1994 and 1996. Watson played professionally in Major League Lacrosse from 2001-2008.
Porcella played collegiately at Loyola and was an assistant coach for the Greyhounds from 2000-2004 and before taking control of the girl's team at The John Carroll School. She will serve as the U.S. U19 women's lacrosse coach in the 2011 Federation of International Lacrosse World Championship in Göttingen, Germany.
Meyer Dwan, the 1997 National Midfielder of the Year, was a three-time All-American with the Greyhounds.
Roberts Radebaugh was an All-American for Loyola in 1996 and 1997, and is a member of the CAA's 25th Anniversary Team.
Roberts Ubriaco was a three-time first team All-CAA player at Loyola from 1992-1994.
Ensor played at the University of New Hampshire and has spent the past 15 years as head coach of Hereford High's girl's lacrosse team.
