Chet Moeller, a Naval Academy graduate who played safety for the Midshipmen in the '70s, is one of 12 players who will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in December, the National Football Foundation announced today.

Moeller, who played from 1973 to 1975 and was a two-time East Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year and the sixth Midshipman to be chosen as a unanimous All-American, served as a Marine officer after graduating from the academy and currently works as a computer consultant, living in Montgomery, Ala.

The induction ceremony will be Dec. 7 in New York. Currently in South Bend, Ind., the Hall of Fame plans to relocate to Centennial Olympic Park near Atlanta.

Other inductees include Arizona State's Pat Tillman, who played professional ball for the Arizona Cardinals and was killed in Afghanistan in 2004 while serving in the U.S. Army
