Mount St. Mary's falls to No. 2 Virginia, 15-7

Cody Lehrer (Dulaney) had four goals and an assist in a losing effort as Mount St. Mary's men's lacrosse team fell to No. 2 Virginia, 15-7, Tuesday at Waldron Family Stadium.

Chris Bocklet had four goals and an assist for the Cavaliers (2-0). Bocklet's goals, a career high, match his freshman season total.

T.C. DiBartolo (Archbishop Spalding) made 16 saves for the Mount (0-1).

Virginia opened the first quarter with a 4-0 run. Colin Briggs started it at 11:17 and Bocklet scored four of the next five Cavalier goals.

Steele Stanwick (Loyola) finished with a goal and two assists for Virginia.
