Towson postpones game vs. UNC-Wilmington

The Towson men's basketball team's game against UNC-Wilmington has been postponed because of the winter storm, the school announced today.

The Tigers were scheduled to take on the Seahawks, a Colonial Athletic Association foe, at 7 p.m. tonight at the Towson Center. The game has been rescheduled for Thursday at 1 p.m.

Towson's decision to postpone its game comes one day after Maryland rescheduled its game against Virginia, which was scheduled for tonight at Comcast Center. The Cavaliers had taken a bus to College Park on Monday to beat the snow, but the Atlantic Coast Conference, Maryland and Virginia later decided to postpone the game until Monday.

The Tigers are 5-16 this season and 2-9 in the CAA. They defeated visiting James Madison 81-78 on Monday night.
