No. 1 Duke is foe in debut of Loyola's Ridley Complex

Loyola will celebrate the grand opening and dedication of The Reverend Harold Ridley, S.J., Athletic Complex on March 13, when its nationally ranked men's lacrosse team takes on preseason No. 1 Duke. Gates will open at 1 p.m; game time is 3 p.m. The Ridley Athletic Complex will be the home of the Greyhounds' NCAA Division I men's and women's lacrosse and soccer teams. It features a 6,000-seat grandstand, Sportexe Momentum synthetic turf field and a video scoreboard. Construction on the $62 million Ridley Athletic Complex began in spring 2006.

Women's lacrosse: Maryland is ranked second in the Inside Lacrosse Women's Media Preseason Poll to Northwestern. Loyola is 14th and Towson 17th.
