Progress? Ohio State guard Evan Turner, who broke bones in his lower back on Dec. 5 when his hands slipped off the rim while dunking, had X-rays Monday, and in a Twitter update, Turner said he had "an amazing day." The original prognosis was that he would miss eight weeks. But Turner, averaging 18.5 points and 11.4 rebounds, hopes to return almost a month before that.
