NCAA tournament: TV, tipoff time Sunday announced for UMBC vs. Kansas State

The UMBC men’s basketball team is headed back to prime time.

Fresh off a historic upset Friday of top-seeded Virginia in the NCAA tournament, the No. 16 seed Retrievers will face No. 9 Kansas State at approximately 7:45 p.m. Sunday, it was announced early Saturday morning.

truTV will broadcast the Round of 32 game, with Jim Nantz, Grant Hill, Bill Raftery and Tracy Wolfson again on the call from Charlotte, N.C.

The game will tip off approximately a half-hour after the end of the 5:15 p.m. game between No. 2 seed North Carolina and No. 7 Texas A&M.
