Mike Morsell scored a game-high 19 points and Eddie Keith II came up with a game-saving block as host Towson beat Delaware , 67-65, Thursday night in men's basketball.
The Tigers improved to 18-10, 8-7 Colonial Athletic Association and the Blue Hens fell to 11-17, 4-11.
Morsell missed two free throws with Towson leading 67-65, Delaware got the rebound, setting up Ryan Allen with a potential game-winning 3-pointer. But, Keith II was near the top of the 3-point line and blocked the shot at the buzzer.
The Tigers completed a regular-season sweep of the Blue Hens.
Brian Starr had 15 points and Alex Thomas had nine rebounds for Towson.
Delaware was paced by 18 points from Ryan Daly, who returned from a lower-body injury and did not play in the earlier matchup between the teams. Anthony Mosley chipped in 18 points while Allen finished with 15. Eric Carter tied Towson's Thomas with nine rebounds.
Fairleigh Dickinson 80, Mt. St. Mary's 79: Darnell Edge hit the second of two free throws with 13 seconds left to give the visiting Knights (11-15, 8-7 Northeast Conference ) the win over the Mount (15-13, 9-6).
The loss is the second straight for the Mountaineers after their five-game win streak was snapped Saturday by Bryant.
Junior Robinson hit a 3-pointer with :09 left in the first half to send Mount St. Mary's into the break with a 38-36 lead and the Mountaineers maintained that lead well into the second half. Jonah Antonio hit a 3 with 11:42 left in the game to make it 57-50.
The Knights battled back to tie the game with just over seven minutes to play and Edge drilled a three with 6:33 left to take the lead, 64-63.
Robinson was fouled behind the 3-point arc and hit two of three free throws to get the Mountaineers within two with :25 left and drew another foul nine seconds later, this time hitting all three to tie it at 79-79.
Mike Holloway Jr. scored 23 points and grabbed nine boards to lead Fairleigh Dickinson (11-15, 8-7). Edge finished with 18 points and Kaleb Bishop contributed 16 points and 14 rebounds.
