Andre Walker scored 19 points, including the game winning layup with 27 seconds left, and host Loyola Maryland came back in the final three minutes to beat Lehigh, 62-60, on Wednesday night.
Walker finished 7-for-16 from the field and added nine rebounds and six assists.
The Mountain Hawks (12-10, 6-5 Patriot League) led 59-56 with 2:13 to play, when back-to-back baskets by Cam Gregory re-established a 60-59 Greyhounds advantage with 1:10 left. A free throw by Kahron Ross for Lehigh tied it at 60, setting up Walker's layup to win it.
Lehigh had two chances to either tie it or win it, but Ross missed a jumper and layup on consecutive possessions.
Gregory scored 15 points with eight rebounds and Jarred Jones added 14 points for Loyola (12-10, 6-5), which has won three straight.
Kyle Leufroy scored 17 points and Jordan Cohen added 14 to lead the Mountain Hawks.
UMBC 92, Binghamton 74: Will Darley (Dulaney) hit four 3-pointers and finished with 22 points and the visiting Retrievers (15-7, 6-3 America East) earned the season sweep over the Bearcats (12-12, 3-6).
UMBC dominated Binghamton in both meetings, winning by 16 points per contest.
Jairus Lyles finished with 19 points and Joe Sherburne added 14 for the Retrievers. UMBC shot 56.1 percent from the field, hit 12 3s, and won the rebounding battle 34-25.
Willie Rodriguez scored 19 points and had seven rebounds for the Bearcats, who had won three straight.
The Retrievers led by just two with five minutes left before halftime but closed on a 16-6 stretch to take a 49-37 lead at the break. Rodney Elliott (John Carroll) made a 3-pointer with 13:57 to go to extend UMBC's lead beyond 20, and Binghamton did not threaten the rest of the way.
Hampton 66, UMES 65: Trevond Barnes scored the final points of the game with 27 seconds remaining to give the host Pirates (8-13, 5-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) the win.
Hampton trailed 65-64 with 27 seconds to go when Barnes — who scored 10 points overall — got the assist from Jermaine Marrow and made a jumper to give the Pirates a one-point lead. The Hawks (7-16, 4-4) missed two shots after that and Hampton held on for the win.
Marrow finished with 20 points and five assists, and Kalin Fisher had 13 points and six rebounds.
The Pirates trailed 33-28 at the break but a pair of 3-pointers by Marrow early in the second half helped Hampton stay close, and another by Lawrence Cooks cut it to 51-50 with 7:24 to play. Marrow hit his third 3-pointer to even it at 55 with 6:21 left.
