Johns Hopkins will send a program-record 14 women's swimmers to the NCAA championships in two weeks. The championships will be held March 21-24 at the Indiana University Natatorium. Leading the way for the Blue Jays are five seniors who are making their fourth appearance at the NCAA championships: Lena Bless, Courtney Cowan, Kaitlin Jones, Gwynnie LaMastra and Anna Wisniewski. Junior Natalia Rincon is making her third trip to NCAAs while sophomores Sonia Lin, Kristen Petersen and Alison Shapiro are making their second trip. Making their first appearance at the championships are senior Sara Wujciak, sophomore Michelle Wang and freshmen Mikayla Bisignani, Emma McElrath and Amy Pearson. ... The Johns Hopkins men's swim team will send 13 to the finals. Leading the way for the Blue Jays men are seniors Davis Knox, Emile Kuyl, Kyle Otazu and Mark Wilson, who are making their fourth appearance at the NCAA championships. Seniors Michael Ashmead and Jan Hagemeister and juniors Emile Kuyl, Peter Lazorchak and Michael Wohl are making their third trip to NCAAs. Senior Peter Conzola is making his second appearance, while junior Alex Carson, sophomore Brandon Fabian and freshmen Nat Davenport and Marcelo Lauzurique are all making their first trip.
