Senior guard Cameron Knox (W.E.B. DuBois) netted a career-high 30 points and Bowie State remained unbeaten on the road after edging Fairmont State, 99-96, on Monday.

Four other Bulldogs (6-3) scored in double figures against the Falcons (5-3), with junior Andre Jackson (Western Tech) adding 22 points and redshirt junior Miles Jackson scoring 13. Senior Zafir Williams and freshman Ahmaad Wilson (Randallstown) contributed 10 points each.


Hampton 62, Morgan State 58: The host Pirates (3-5, 2-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) picked up their third straight win as the Bears (1-8) remained winless in conference play.

Norfolk State 88, Coppin State 69: Taariq Cephas' season-high 16 points weren't enough in an 88-69 road loss.  Arnold Fripp and Sterling Smith each had 15 points for the Eagles (1-7, 0-2 MEAC) against the Spartans (6-4, 2-0).

UMES 69, N.C. AT&T 58: The host Hawks won their first conference game of the season with a second-half comeback. Led by Devon Walker (27 points), UMES (4-7, 1-1 MEAC) stormed back in impressive fashion after trailing the Aggies (1-9, 0-2) by as many as 11 points in the first half.


Johns Hopkins 73, Bryn Mawr 6: The visiting Blue Jays (6-2) opened the game with a 20-0 lead and never looked back, with every player on the roster scoring in the blowout win over the Eagles (0-6). Beatriz Williams led Hopkins with 10 points on the night.

UMES 58, N.C. A&T 43: The host Hawks won their fourth straight game while ending a seven-year winless skid against the Aggies (6-3, 1-1 MEAC). With the win, led by guard Jessica Long's 20 game-high points, UMES moved to 4-4, 2-0.

Hampton 63, Morgan State 43: Despite Braennan Farrar's career-high 16 points, the Bears dropped their fifth straight game this season. Morgan State (2-7, 0-2 MEAC) struggled to contain Ryan Jordan, who scored a game-high 19 points on 9-for-12 shooting for Hampton (3-5, 1-0).
