With previously top-ranked Michigan State losing last week for the first time, Big 12 rivals Kansas (12-1) and Oklahoma (12-0) were voted separately as the No. 1 team in the respective polls.

The Jayhawks ae No. 1 in the AP poll and the Sooners are No. 1 in the USA Today Sports poll.

The 14-1 Spartans, who lost at Iowa before winning at Minnesota, are still playing without star forward Denzel Valentine, who is expected back soon after undergoing arthroscopic surgery last month.

Kansas and Oklahoma play Monday night in Lawrence, Kansas, meaning that the Terps can move up next week if they beat Rutgers at home Wednesday and at Wisconsin on Saturday. The game in Madison will tip-off at 1 p.m..
