The Stevenson men's volleyball team will make its first trip to the NCAA tournament after beating Rutgers-Newark on Saturday in the Continental Volleyball Conference tournament.

The Mustangs (25-7) learned Monday they'll be the sixth seed in the Division III tourney. They'll play Carthage at 8 p.m., Friday at Nazareth College in Pittsford, N.Y.

Stevenson had lost in the finals of the conference tournament the past two years, but broke through this time by winning 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-21). The win gave the Mustangs an automatic qualification into the NCAA field.
