No. 3 Gilman 69, No. 13 Archbishop Spalding 40: The host Cavaliers (2-4) put together two scoring drives to take a 14-7 lead with 5:43 left in the first quarter. But the Greyhounds (4-2) scored 49 unanswered points to take a 56-14 lead at the half.

Kai Locksley rushed for three touchdowns and threw a 26-yard touchdown pass.

No. 12 Archbishop Curley 53, Chesapeake-BC 0: The host Friars (5-0) opened a 41-point first quarter with a 76-yard opening kickoff return by Deonte Harris and rolled past the Bayhawks (1-4).

Curley had 392 rushing yards to Chesapeake-BC's 54. Harris had two carries for 88 yards and two touchdowns besides the kickoff return. Tyrone Roper had three carries for 56 yards and two touchdowns.

Boys soccer

No. 12 Dulaney 4, Patapsco 0: Cameron Carter scored twice to lead the Lions (8-1) past the host Patriots (5-3).

No. 13 Perry Hall 2, Dundalk 0: Denis Mabonga scored in the first half and Justin Spencer added a second-half goal for the visiting Gators (7-2-1). The Owls fell to 4-7.

Girls soccer

No. 11 Bel Air 2, South River 1: D'Arcy Carlson had two goals and Kayla Klock had a goal and an assist to lead the visiting Bobcats (8-1) past the Seahawks (8-2).

Marriotts Ridge 4, Long Reach 1: Alexis Zadjura scored twice to lead the host Mustangs (4-4-1) past the Lightning (3-7).

No. 1 McDonogh 4, St. Mary's 0: Elizabeth George had a goal and an assist to power the host Eagles (8-0-1) past the Saints (2-5).

No. 2 Archbishop Spalding 5, Severn 1: Erin Shanahan scored twice and Kyler Greenwalt had a goal and two assists to guide the Cavaliers (9-1) past the host Admirals (5-5).

No. 7 Century 3, Liberty 0: Shelby Mercer scored two goals as the Knights (7-1-1) beat the host Eagles (4-5).

No. 9 Atholton 2, No. 10 Marriotts Ridge 1: The Raiders (9-2) took a 2-0 lead and held on to beat the Mustangs (9-2).

Atholton, Marriotts Ridge and No. 11 Glenelg are tied for first in Howard County with 7-1 records.

There is a three-way tie for first- place in Howard County between Atholton, Marriotts Ridge and No. 11 Glenelg, each with a 7-1 county record.

No. 11 Glenelg 1, Centennial 0: Hannah Doughty scored the game-winner on an assist from Grace Olsen as the Gladiators (8-2-1) beat the host Eagles (5-6).

Girls volleyball

No. 14 Howard d. Mount Hebron, 3-1: Jamie Kalinock had 14 kills and Lauren Madison had six kills and five blocks to lead the visiting Lions (6-1) over the Vikings (4-3), 20-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-17.

Wednesday's boys soccer

No. 6 St. Paul's 1, Mount Saint Joseph 0: Nate Hall scored on a second-half feed from Kent Darrell as the Crusaders (7-2-1) beat the host Gaels (0-7-3).
