Thirty-one local players were honored when US Lacrosse announced its girls All-Americans from the Chesapeake, Greater Baltimore and Western Maryland chapters Monday.

Across the country, 400 players from 46 US Lacrosse chapters and 24 states were honored as All-Americans.

In addition one senior from each chapter received the Jackie Pitts Award as the player "who truly honors lacrosse, is invested in the development of the game in her community, is an exceptional player who continually strives to improve her game, and is an exemplary member of her team."

Jackie Pitts award winners: Broadneck's Ellie McNulty from the Chesapeake Chapter, Maryvale's Elizabeth Piet from the Greater Baltimore Chapter and Westminster's Kristen Murphy from the Western Maryland Chapter.
