Friends junior forward Rachel Kehoe scored two minutes into the second half and the goal stood as the Quakers came away with a 1-0 win over Roland Park to claim the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland B Conference championship game on Sunday at Maryvale.
Friends finished its season with a 14-1-4 record, while Roland Park ended 12-7-1.
After the Quakers were unable to finish any scoring chances in the first half, Kehoe broke through when she found space in the penalty area, cut back to get by a defender and scored the game-winner.
Friends got strong games in the middle from Eliza Harris and Mia Mangione to help protect the lead.
