Terry McKenna scored four goals, including his team's first three, as Holy Cross defeated Navy, 7-5, in men's lacrosse at the inaugural Metropolitan Lacrosse Classic on Sunday at Citi Field in New York.
The win was the first over a military academy for the Crusaders and ended their nine-game losing streak to the Midshipmen.
McKenna then sealed the win for Holy Cross (4-3, 1-1) with his fourth goal of the game, taking a pass from Clay Haarmann and scoring from 15 yards out with 5:16 to go.

Frostburg State 7, Christopher Newport 6: Trailing 6-3 early in the fourth quarter, the visiting Bulldogs (5-2) scored four straight goals over the final 12:58 to rally past the Captains (4-4).
Maryland (9-0) was led by Katie Schwarzmann (Century) with three goals and Alex Aust, who had two goals and two assists.
No. 9 Penn State 20, Vanderbilt 14: Maggie McCormick (Liberty) scored five goals as the host Nittany Lions (5-3, 1-0 American Lacrosse Conference) defeated the Commodores (1-8, 0-2).
Salisbury 19, Brockport 6: Seniors Kara Koolage and Lauren Feusahrens had four goals each as the Sea Gulls (6-0) defeated the Golden Eagles (3-1).
Frostburg State 19, Wesley 11: Taylor Cassatt (Liberty) had five goals and Katelyn Kesecker (Arundel) four as the Bobcats (3-2, 1-0 Capital Athletic Conference) beat the Wolverines (3-4, 0-2).
