A two-way starter at quarterback and defensive back, Cook accounted for two touchdowns and had three interceptions in leading the Falcons (2-2) to their first win over South Carroll in four years, 28-14, Friday night. The 5-foot-10, 160-pound senior ran the ball 25 times for 80 yards and a touchdown and was 6-for-10 passing for 109 yards and a touchdown. On defense, he also had three tackles and a pass deflection. For the season, he has run for five touchdowns and thrown for three while gaining 559 yards of total offense. He also has four interceptions and 13 tackles. Cook, who has a 3.28 GPA, is a state champion and All-Metro wrestler and plays midfield for the lacrosse team. He aims to play football in college and is interested in East Carolina, West Virginia and Bloomsburg.
