Mercy senior Alexis Prior-Brown and Bryn Mawr senior Riley Barger have signed their national letters of intent to play soccer next year at Maryland.
The repeat All-Metro first-team selections had previously committed to the Terps but delayed signing after coach Brian Pensky resigned in January. Maryland promoted assistant Jonathan Morgan to the head coaching position on Friday.
A forward, Prior-Brown had 23 goals and 11 assists this fall. She finished her four-year career with 53 goals and 25 assists.
Barger, a midfielder, led the Mawrtians to three straight IAAM B Conference titles, scoring winning goals in the past two championship games.
Back-to-back All-Metro Player of the Year Ashley Spivey, of McDonogh, has also signed to play for the Terps.
