The top-ranked Dunbar boys basketball wasted no time flexing its muscles. Their full-court press and transtion game led to a 20-point halftime leadand a 78-48 win over Digital Harbor on Wednesday night.
The Poets (11-0) opened the game with a 25-6 run. Dunbar’s Gavin Pettiford led all scorers with 16 points.
No. 3 Mount St. Joseph 74, Boys’ Latin 41: Phil Lawrence had 18 points for the Gaels (19-3), who made 12 3-pointers.Mount St. Joe led 28-13 after the first quarter, and outscored BL, 17-6, in the second.
The Lakers’ Connor Heacock had a game-high 23 points.
No. 4 Patterson 81, Douglass 52: The host Clippers (9-5) snapped a three-game losing streak.

No. 8 Joppatowne 71, Carver A&T 35: The host Martiners (11-2) opened the second half with a 25-6 run to pull away. Shakara Head had a game-high 29 points and 10 rebounds, and LaKiah Huff added 19 points.
No. 13 Catonsville 59, Patapsco 15: Taylor Barton had 10 points to lead the visiting Comets (12-1) past the Patriots.
Mount de Sales 52, Garrison Forest 49: The vsiting Sailors, led by Gabby Cha (19 points), made their free throws down the stretch to beat the Grizzlies.
