Roundup: No. 3 McDonogh girls beat No. 8 Roland Park, 39-31

Tiersa Winder led No. 3 McDonogh in scoring with 12 points and Danielle Edwards recorded six steals, six assists and six rebounds as the visiting Eagles girls basketball team defeated No. 8 Roland Park, 39-31, on Monday to improve its record to 14-1. McDonogh led the Reds (8-7) at the half 16-13.

No. 10 Dunbar 55, Mercy 25: The visiting Poets (9-3) used a balanced attack with nine players scoring, only one in double figures, to defeat the Magic.

Mount de Sales 59, Catholic 34: Gabby Cha scored 20 points and Eve Lukowski added 18 to lead the host Sailors over the Cubs.

Seton Keough 53, St. Frances 49: Hollie Booker had nine points and 16 rebounds, two crucial at the end of the game, to led the Gators past the Panthers in league play. Destiny Davis added 10 points in the win.

Atholton 53, Reservoir 45: Gavin Stephenson led all scorers with 23 points as the Raiders defeated the visiting Gators.

Centennial 71, Oakland Mills 55: Keonte Potts led the Eagles with 29 points, five rebounds and two steals in their victory over the host Scorpions. He was 11-for-18 from the field and 6-for-7 from the free-throw line.

Randallstown 75, Loch Raven 48: Jerell Cooke scored 13 points and pulled down six rebounds to lift the visiting Rams over the Raiders in league play. Austin McKenzie and Justin Brice scored 10 points apiece in the win.
