The State Indoor Track & Field Committee has adopted a "championship style" format for this winter's region meets under which athletes must qualify with a "verifiable" performance.

The Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association's website will list results from verified meets, and for athletes to compete in individual events at region meets, they must qualify at one of those competitions.

Meet hosts can submit their results to mdstatetrackmeet@gmail.com for verification.
