Laurie Blumberg's letter to the editor ("Grand Prix requires full accounting, not subsidies," Dec. 6) declares the Baltimore Grand Prix a "proven loser." One year does not prove anything. There were problems as there will always be with any first time event of this magnitude. Give it a chance and it will generate many, many dollars for Baltimore. Not everything provides instant gratification.
