Taylor Beaumont
Mount de Sales, hitter, senior
As a junior, she had 213 kills, 13 blocks and 27 digs on the area's best private school team. This should be her year to shine.
Lauren Bosse
Towson, hitter, senior
An All-Metro first-team pick last season, Bosse helped lead the Generals to the Class 3A state title and had 18 kills in the final.
Cassidy Cunningham
Notre Dame Prep, setter, senior
A two-time All-Conference player, Cunningham led the Blazers last season in their first year in the tough IAAM AConference. She contributed 313 assists, 58 kills and 68 aces to a young team that should be much improved this season.
Hailey Fitzgerald
St. Paul's, setter, senior
Fitzgerald has a knack for finding the ball. As a junior, she contributed 424 assists and 100 kills to a team that improved throughout the year.
Rachel Rachael Holehouse
Fallston, hitter, senior
Maybe the most complete player in the area, Holehouse is a force on the court. She had 205 kills, 103 assists and 114 digs to lead the Cougars to the Class 2A state title last year.
Kelly Lacy
Towson, hitter, senior
Lacy's leadership will be a key for the Generals. She averaged 2.7 kills per game last year, but her play on the back line will be equally important this season.
Trish Mockapetris
Centennial, hitter, junior
An All-Metro second-team performer last year, Mockapetris had 110kills and 22 digs as a sophomore and was a big reason Centennial advanced to the Class 3A state title game.
Jamie Rombach
Archbishop Spalding, setter, senior
Rombach will be the quarterback of a Spalding team that was often overlooked last year. An All-Metro second-team performer, she led the Cavaliers with 247 kills, 224 assists and 218 digs. Her leadership and distribution of the ball make the Cavaliers one of the favorites in the IAAM A Conference.
Ashlyn Tapley
Arundel, hitter, senior
Tapley's 180 kills and 40 aces led the Wildcats in a run to the Class 4A state semifinals last year, and her leadership was a key reason Arundel peaked to win the East region.
Lindsay Tapley
Arundel, setter, senior
While her sister provided much of the offensive firepower, Tapley was the team's most complete player. She had 148 kills, 279 assists and 35aces on a well-rounded team that should make noise again.
