Brooke Adler
Garrison Forest, forward, sophomore
Adler offers beautiful stickwork in tight situations, good field vision, composure and accurate shots. She led the Grizzlies in scoring (16 goals, eight assists) in their surprise drive to the 2010 IAAM AConference championship.
Marissa Balleza
Severna Park, forward, junior
Balleza is fun to watch as she scoots the ball upfield. Her speed, stickwork and field vision set the team's leading scorer (21goals, 6 assists in 19 games) apart from the competition.
Anne Federico
Notre Dame Prep, forward, junior
Federico is a two-year varsity starter with a powerhouse shot and sharp aim. She's one of the team's fastest players, and a key on corner plays. Last season she was an IAAM All-Star.
Josie George
Bryn Mawr, midfielder-defender, senior
As a junior, George seemed to be everywhere the ball was.
Anna Haley
Broadneck, midfielder, senior
Haley has incredible skill, great vision and a nose for the goal. Expect last season's totals of seven goals and eight assists to increase. A four-year starter, she has committed to Iowa.
Danielle King
C. Milton Wright, center forward, senior
For the first time in her varsity career, King will not be playing midfield. Instead, she'll be charged with leading the offense. In her three previous seasons, King had 12 goals.
Stacey Mackintosh
South River, defender, senior
As a junior she developed a finesse that allows her to pick the ball off an opponent's stick without a second thought. She also made four defensive saves and scored 11 goals.
Alyssa Parker
Glenelg, forward, senior
Another year like last year will put Parker in rarefied air. With 77 goals and 72 assists for her career, she has the chance to become only the second player in National Federation history to total both 100 goals and 100 assists. Parker had 38 goals and 38 assists last season. She is a member of the U.S. Under-19 high performance team.
Melissa Rize
Archbishop Spalding, goalie, junior
Rize has reflexes and quickness that haven't gone unnoticed. Named to the U.S. Field Hockey Junior Olympics team, she had an .859 save percentage last season.
Pauline Shih
River Hill, midfielder, senior
Shih offers superior stick skills and field sense and can produce at both ends of the field. She scored the game-winning penalty shot in the 3A title game.
