We have countless awesome sports photos in the archives here at The Baltimore Sun, and I have decided to share one with you each week in a regular feature called "Throwback Thursday." We revealed our Spring All-Metro teams on Thursday, so I went digging for a photo of our All-Metro team from a decade ago.

That was the year that Carmelo Anthony was our Boys Basketball Player of the Year, and yes, that’s ‘Melo in the back with the headband and baby afro. Our other All-Metro Athletes of the Year in 2001 were, from left to right, Shane Stroup, Cori Koch, Ryan Davis and LaTonya Blue, who was rocking the sweet yellow warmups.
