The senior pitcher turned in a week of superlatives, pitching three shutout innings for an 18-0 win over North East and following that with a one-hitter and a 1-0 victory over North Harford. "The North Harford game was breathtaking," Mustangs coach Tony Blackburn said. "They challenged him batter after batter. To watch him dig down the way he did against a quality opponent, it was the game of his life. In two wins, no one even reached second base on him." Ruse has a 5-1 record this season and a 1.57 ERA with 60 strikeouts. He has a 3.1 GPA and will attend Maryland next year on a baseball scholarship.
