Led by a season-high five points, four goals and an assist, from Kyle Moffitt, visiting Stevenson earned the top seed in next week's Capital Athletic Conference tournament with a 16-12 victory over host Salisbury on Saturday.
The win marked the second undefeated conference regular season in the last three seasons for the Mustangs (15-1, 8-0), who extended their CAC regular-season road winning streak to 14 games.
The Mustangs also improved to 3-3 at Sea Gull Stadium and 4-3 against the Sea Gulls since 2009.
Stevenson scored the game's first five goals, two of which came from senior Jimmy Dailey (Winters Mill), as the team built a 5-1 advantage at the end of the first quarter. .
With three goals, Dailey now has 98 points this season, setting a school record and surpassing the old mark of 96 set by current assistant coach and two-time United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Attackman of the Year Steve Kazimer.
Stevenson extended its lead to six with 6:36 remaining in the second quarter on Moffitt's second goal of the game before Salisbury closed the half with three consecutive goals to pull within 8-5 at the half.
After the Sea Gulls scored the first goal of the second half to cut the deficit to two, the Mustangs scored six of the next eight to push their lead back to six at 14-8 after the third quarter. Stevenson outscored Salisbury 11-4 over the first and third quarters.
Salisbury opened the fourth quarter with three-straight goals to pull back within three, but no closer in their first loss of the season and at home since a 10-6 defeat by Stevenson in the CAC championship game on April 24, 2010.
Tony Mendes had a hat trick for the Sea Gulls (14-1, 7-1), who await the winner of today's St. Mary's-York game in Wednesday's semifinal.
Mount St. Mary's 16, Quinnipiac 10: Three hat tricks from Brett Schmidt, Cody Lehrer and Andrew Scalley powered the Mount (6-5, 3-0) past the Bobcats (4-6, 2-1) and claimed sole possession of first place in the Northeast Conference.
The Mount led 10-2 at the half. Schmidt led the way with three goals and three assists while Lehrer chipped in three goals and two assists with Scalley adding three goals and one helper.
Mount St. Mary's took control of the game early, scoring four times in the opening 10 minutes. Schmidt started the streak, scoring 4:19 into the game to give the Mount a 1-0 lead. Just over a minute later, Lehrer converted a Scalley pass to push the lead to two. Scalley scored an extra-man goal with 6:00 left in the first quarter and Lehrer's second goal of the game just 41 seconds later lifted the Mount to a 4-0 advantage.
Schmidt scored 43 seconds into the second quarter to make it a 5-0 lead before Quinnipiac scored back-to-back goals to cut the Mount lead to 5-2. The Mountaineers, however, scored five times over the final 8:25 of the half to take a commanding 10-2 lead at the break.
The Bobcats made a run, cutting the Mount lead to 11-6 with 13:24 left in the game, but Mount St. Mary's held off the rally, scoring five goals in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
UMBC 13, Albany 9: Scott Jones scored four of his five goals in the fourth quarter to lead the visiting Retrievers (5-5, 2-1 America East) past the Great Danes (4-8, 0-3).
UMBC, which has won three straight, pulled away after Albany drew even, 9-9, early in the final period.
Penn State 7, Towson 6: Denny Henneghan scored the game-winner with 8:02 remaining to lift the host Nittany Lions (6-5, 3-1 Colonial Athletic Association) over the Tigers (2-9, 0-4). Matt Hughes scored twice for Towson.
McDaniel 4, Ursinus 3: The host Green Terror (6-7, 3-4 Centennial) scored all four goals in the first half and rode out the win. The Bears fell to 6-7, 3-4.
Loyola at Georgetown, ppd: Severe weather in Washington prompted a postponement of the game between the Greyhounds (6-3) and Hoyas (5-5). The game has been rescheduled for today at 3 p.m. at the Multi-Sport Field.
Goucher at Catholic, ppd.: The game between the Gophers (8-4, 2-0 Landmark Conference) and Cardinals (9-3, 3-0) was postponed. The game has been rescheduled for today at 1 p.m.
Washington College at Gettysburg, ppd: The game between the Shoremen (4-6, 2-4 Centennial Conference) and Bullets (7-5, 3-2) was postponed because of thunderstorms in Gettysburg, Pa. The game has been rescheduled for 3 p.m. today.

No. 2 Notre Dame 10, St. John's 7: Tied 7-7, the host Fighting Irish (9-0, 4-0 Big East) finished strong scoring three unanswered goals in the fourth quarter to win. David Earl led Notre Dame with a hat trick.

No. 4 Denver 11, Ohio State 6: Chase Carraro won 14-of-20 faceoffs and finished with a hat trick to lead the host Pioneers (9-2, 4-0 Eastern Colleges Athletic Conference) past the Buckeyes (6-6, 1-2) at the Eighth Annual Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Showdown.
Brock Sorenen scored twice for Ohio State.
No. 5 Duke 13, No. 8 Virginia 11: Blue Devils goalie Dan Wigrizer made eight second-half saves and midfielder Robert Rotanz netted four second-half goals to lead host Duke (10-4, 3-0) past the Cavaliers (8-4, 1-2). The win clinches the Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season title, marking the ninth overall and fifth since 2005 for the program.
Trailing by five with less than seven minutes to play, Virginia scored the final three goals over a six-minute span, but the rally fell short. Colin Briggs had four goals for the Cavaliers.
No. 10 Hofstra 8, Fairfield 7: Andrew Gvozden (Severna Park) made three of his 10 saves in the final 2:30 and Adrian Sorichetti and Ian Braddish each scored twice to lead the visiting Pride (11-1). The Stags fell to 6-6.
