Course facts: 7,435 yards, par 72. The 1933 Bobby Jones/Alistair Mackenzie design finally has stabilized since its expansion period of the last decade, allowing both players and club officials to understand the nuances of the layout.
Format: 72 holes, stroke play. Field cut after 36 holes to top 44 and ties, plus all within 10 strokes of the lead. Sudden-death playoff, if necessary, immediately after final round alternating between Nos. 18 and 10.
Purse: Announced during the week. Last year's event offered $7.5 million ($1.35 million to winner).
