The North Carolina State-bound senior got her first perfect game in the second game of this season as No. 2 Archbishop Spalding beat visiting Mercy, 10-0, on Wednesday.
Right-hander Weiman (2-0) struck out 14 and had the only extra-base hit, a double in the fourth inning.
North County 6, South River 0: Brittany Jones (4-2) struck out 11 in pitching a perfect game for the visiting Knights. She also went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
No. 1 Chesapeake-AA 13, Southern 0: Megan Hyson pitched a shutout with 11 strikeouts and went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBIs for the visiting Cougars (6-0).
Glenelg 1, No. 4 Howard 0: Right-hander Amanda Segrist gave up two hits and struck out five in the win. The Gladiators (4-2) scored the winning run in the sixth on a triple and a suicide squeeze. The Lions fell to 5-1.
Archbishop Curley 10, No. 3 Gilman 2: Zach Ridgley doubled to start a four-run rally in the first and the visiting Friars (3-3) never looked back, upsetting the Greyhounds (10-4).
Right-hander Mitchell Sutton (1-0) struck out five in the win.
No. 8 C. Milton Wright 4, Elkton 0: Left-hander Nick Stallings (2-1) got 10 strikeouts on 76 pitches in six innings in the shutout. The host Mustangs improved to 5-1. Andrew Clow and Jon Coba tripled for C.M. Wright.
No. 9 Severna Park 11, Northeast 5: Bradley Keith went 3-for-4 with a double, two homers and five RBIs to power the host Falcons (3-2) past the Eagles (4-2). Keith hit a three-run homer in a seven-run first.
No. 13 Digital Harbor 10, Poly 0: Right-hander Mike Payne (2-0) struck out nine to collect a shutout and Nathan Pitts Jr. had the only extra-base hit for the host Rams (5-0), a double.
Mount Carmel 13, No. 14 Severn 11: The host Cougars (6-2) put together two five-run innings and Bobby Sanzone hit a three-run homer to upset the Admirals (6-1).
