The senior attacker scored 19 of her team's 25 goals last week in leading the Patriots to victory in two close contests. Her biggest game came in a 12-goal effort that helped the Patriots defeat Carver A&T, 14-12, for their first win over the Wildcats in five years. In the season opener, the converted midfielder scored seven goals in an 11-5 win over Western Tech. Fries, also a soccer player for the Patriots, plays club soccer for the Baltimore Bays but does not play club lacrosse. She plans to play both sports in college at the Division III level and is considering Stevenson, among other schools. Fries has a 3.67 GPA.
