Outlook: Winners of eight straight games with three remaining in the regular season, the Blast can lock up first place in the Major Indoor Soccer League with a win over the last-place Riot. On Sunday in Chicago, the Blast needed an overtime goal from Max Ferdinand to get past the Riot, 16-13. The Blast will have a special pre-game ceremony for Baltimore native Giuliano Celenza, who announced earlier in the week that he was retiring after the season. Celenza, an 11-year veteran who played at Archbishop Curley and UMBC, ranks fourth all time in the franchise with 424 points. Midfielder Patrick Healey leads the Blast in scoring with 45 points, while Chicago's Bato Radonic has a team-high 41 points. The Blast has won three of four meetings against the Riot this season.
