Outlook: The Blast is playing its best ball of the season, in the midst of a five-game winning streak to gain first place in the Major Indoor Soccer League. The home team comes into Friday's game plenty rested, its last game a convincing 15-6 win against the second-place Milwaukee Wave (11-4) on Feb. 4. Third-year midfielder Pat Healey continues his breakout season, leading the Blast in scoring with 43 points. Solid two-way play has come from veteran defender Pat Morris, who is the glue in back and second on the team with 28 points. Omaha is coming off a tough 10-8 overtime loss to Milwaukee on Wednesday. The Vipers made two big roster moves this week, signing veteran goalkeeper Sanaldo and releasing leading scorer Carlos 'Chile' Farias. Both are former Blast players. Sanaldo is expected to make his Vipers debut. The Blast has gotten fine play in goal from Sagu, who leads the MISL with a 9.43 points-against average.
