The senior sprinter won three events, set a meet record and scored 30 of her team's 47 points at last week's Howard County indoor track championships as the Lightning finished fifth. Scott also became the first girl in county history to win the 55-, 300- and 500-meter races in the same night. In the 300, she set a meet record of 41.01 seconds. A two-time All-Metro selection who also runs cross country, Scott won the state Class 2A title last season at 300 meters and also won the 200-meter dash in last spring's state track and field championships. She has a 3.84 GPA and is undecided about college but plans to visit to UNC-Charlotte, George Mason and Southern Mississippi.
