Fresh from his third straight playoff season but still seeking his first Super Bowl, Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti will deliver his annual state-of-the-team address and respond to a multitude of questions on Thursday. They will cover the gamut from collective bargaining to quarterback play.
Here are some things he is likely to talk about:
•His assessment of labor negotiations between owners and the NFL Players Association, and what the implications are for his franchise. Bisciotti may make his case for an 18-game schedule, as well.
•Free agency won't begin until after the draft and after a collective bargaining agreement. Bisciotti may speak to the difficulty of retaining the majority of the Ravens' 17 unrestricted free agents, among them defensive tackle Haloti Ngata and kicker Billy Cundiff.
•Instead of a coronation for quarterback Joe Flacco, the Ravens watched the offense sputter much of the season, despite Bisciotti paying for three former Pro Bowl receivers. What is Bisciotti's take on the offensive malaise?
•The loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers was a devastating setback for the team and its fans. What does Bisciotti tell his fan base now?
