Riot goalkeeper Ante Cop scored the game-winning 3-point goal with 23 seconds remaining in the game, lifting the Chicago Riot over the short-handed Blast, 14-12, on Sunday.
The Blast fell to 6-3, one game out of first place in the Major Indoor Soccer League; the Riot picked up its second victory of the season.
The Blast led 10-8 after three quarters and was up 12-8 after Pat Healey scored midway through the fourth quarter, but the Riot came back with a 3-pointer by Novi Marojevic with 2:22 remaining and Cop's game-winner.
Healey had two assists in addition to his goal.
The Blast's Lucio Gonzaga, Mike Lookingland and Warren Ukah missed the game while serving MISL suspensions after an on-field altercation the previous weekend.
