A 5-foot-10 guard, Alaeze scored three-quarters of the No. 9 Reds' points in the 53-40 loss to Seton Keough. She also had 15 points in a 49-32 loss to St. Vincent Pallotti. Against St. Catherine's she hit eight of 11 free-throws down the stretch to assure a 53-48 win. She also had 14 points in playing only the first half of a 42-18 win over Walsingham, Va. Alaeze, who also plays soccer for the Reds, contributed three steals and 2.5 assists per game.
