The senior running back gained 289 yards on 25 carries and scored three touchdowns as the Warriors defeated Brunswick, 34-14, in a state Class 1A semifinal football game Friday night. Kelly gained 195 of those yards and scored two touchdowns in the first half to spark a 21-7 Warriors halftime lead. This season, he has rushed for 1,605 yards on 176 carries and has scored 17 touchdowns. Kelly, who also runs track for the Warriors, plans to play in college and has drawn interest from coaches.
