Here's a look at what other media are saying about the Ravens.
• NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk ranks the Ravens No. 4 in the NFL. Though they got robbed when the officials didn't flag Roddy White for pass interference, the Ravens of old would have put the clamps on the Falcons long before it got to that point. • James Walker of ESPN.com's AFC North blog writes that even though the Ravens are statistically worse on defense since Ed Reed's return that it's not right to say that Reed's return is linked to the defense's decline.
Statistically, Baltimore has allowed more passing yards since Reed's return, but it doesn't make sense to say the Ravens are worse. Reed's presence forces opponents to plan against him, and Reed already contributed three interceptions.
• Walker previews his power rankings, saying that the Ravens will fall out of the No. 1 spot.
Baltimore played in one of the best games of the season during a 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The lead changed hands twice in the final minute and ended on a controversial 33-yard touchdown catch by Atlanta receiver Roddy White. A solid showing on the road and near victory shouldn't put much of a dent into Baltimore's power ranking. But the Ravens will drop out of the No. 1 spot.
Suggs was a terror and much-needed boost to Baltimore's pass rush, which has been inconsistent this season. A better pass rush also helps Baltimore's shaky secondary.
