McDonogh girls advance in soccer

Casey Martinez scored the third and eventual game-winning goal with 30 minutes left and top-ranked McDonogh girls soccer beat Mercy, 3-2, in an Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland semifinal Thursday.

The Eagles (14-1-2) face Archbishop Spalding in Saturday's championship 7 p.m. at Anne Arundel Community College.

Bryn Mawr advances to Saturday's championship at Anne Arundel Community College vs. Roland Park at 5 p.m.
