Here's a look at where other media are ranking the Ravens as the NFL heads into Week 6 of the regular season:
• Thanks to the Ravens' three-game winning streak, ESPN.com boosted the Ravens up four spots to No. 2 -- behind the Pittsburgh Steelers -- in this week's list.
RB Ray Rice (133 yards, two touchdowns in Week 5) makes everyone else's job much easier.
• FoxSports.com's Adam Caplan lists the Ravens at No. 1, which is the same place he ranked them last week.
Once the Ravens get starting FS Ed Reed back from his hip injury, their defense will be pretty close to complete. The offense is capable of putting up much bigger numbers on a weekly basis, and once they do, this team will be even tougher to beat.
• Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com also views the Ravens as the NFL's top team for the second consecutive week.
They head to New England with a three-game winning streak. They might be the most complete team right now. They finally got Ray Rice going against the Broncos.
• USA Today ranks the Ravens at No. 2 behind the New York Jets.
Expect Pro Bowler Ed Reed back after trip to New England.
• FanHouse.com's Chris Burke places the Ravens at No. 1, but says they're pretty evenly matched with the Jets at this point in the season.
The Ravens and Jets are 1 and 1a right now -- it's hard to really decipher between the two. Great defenses, really solid run games and QBs that are just good enough to keep winning. We'll know even more about Baltimore after this Sunday's trip to Foxborough to take on the Patriots.
• In this week's "The Fine Fifteen" rankings, SI.com's Peter King puts the Ravens at the top.
Ray Rice lives. And I continue to regret calling the secondary so awful before the season. Wait until that group gets Ed Reed back, likely in a couple of weeks.
