The Pistons not only lost their preseason opener in Miami, they also lost forward Jonas Jerebko and guard Terrico White to serious injuries.
Jerebko, who averaged 9.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in 73 starts last season, will miss five to six months with a ruptured Achilles' tendon.
White, a second-round draft pick, broke a bone in his right foot and will have surgery Friday along with Jerebko.
