The junior running back/cornerback made two key plays late in Friday's 28-21 win over St. Vincent Pallotti to preserve Annapolis Area Christian School's 5-0 record and a 12-game winning streak — the area's longest. In a game the Eagles trailed 21-7 going into the fourth quarter, Paige threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to James Anderson for a 22-21 lead. He then intercepted a pass and returned it 26 yards for another touchdown to seal the win. Paige also had four tackles. A transfer from Springbrook, Paige plans to play baseball for the Eagles after sitting out last spring following shoulder surgery. He has a 3.0 grade-point average and plays drums in the school band. He hopes to play football in college.
