Brandon Barnes had two touchdown rushes in the first quarter as host No. 8 Boys' Latin shut out St.̮̮̉̉|Frances, 45-0, on Saturday.
Barnes finished with three touchdown runs -- he added a 3-yard run in the third quarter -- and had 11 carries for 94 yards.
Brandon Cherry had nine rushes for 71 yards and two TDs for Boys' Latin (5-0), which has won 15-regular season games in a row dating back two years. The Lakers finished 10-0 last season. The Panthers (0-5) have had three shutouts this season.

In the first game, Nicolina Boretti had a goal and an assist to lead Spalding past Arundel, 3-0. In the second game, Kelly Patterson scored twice and Spalding won, 6-1, over Kearney (N.J.).
Spalding has outshot Arundel and Kearney a combined 30-8. Boretti finished with two goals and two assists.
No. 14 Marriotts Ridge 4, No.̮̮̉̉|9̮̮̉̉|Fallston 0: Maxine Brewer scored twice and the host Mustangs (6-0-1) won the championship of their tournament by upsetting the Cougars (6-1). No. 12 Hereford won, 5-0, over Walkersville in the consolation game.
In the opening round, Fallston beat the Bulls (5-2), 3-1. Marissa Walker had two goals for the Cougars. Marriotts Ridge beat Walkersville, 4-0. Katie Kanner had two goals for the Mustangs.̮̮̉̉o
